About KVK

The KVK, Jhalawar was established in March, 1993 to transfer and disseminate the latest agricultural technical know how among the farmers and to equip the agricultural extension functionary of the state Government department, Non Governmental organizations and other departments working in villages. This KVK with its modest beginning has progressed steadily and became pioneer institute of the farmer of the District. Now a days the KVK, Jhalawar is one of the leading KVK among all KVKs which are being governed by Directorate of Extension Education, MPUAT, Udaipur. 

Total 16.13 ha land was allotted to KVK as its infrastructural farm at two different locations i.e. Jhalarapatan and Campus farm, Jhalawar having 8.07 ha & 8.06 ha land, respectively. Out of which 9.0 ha land is being utilized for crop production. At present out of this cultivated land 0.5 ha set aside for demonstration, 2.0 ha put under orchard and other purposes.
